I explained what had happened at the reunion and he told me he would look into it and see what could be done. We never heard a single thing from him ever. That being said, we aren't the kind of people to hold a grudge so about two weeks ago we went back in to try our luck once more. We sat at the bar and that same server named Coon first made us wait nearly 20 minutes to place our order while she washed glasses behind the bar. When she brought us our beers she plopped them down and walked off. Then, when Coon did bring our pizzas to us she plopped them in front of us as well and then turned and walked away. She didn't even bother to ask if we needed any other condiments or anything. It was obvious she really didn't want us there so we simply told Coon we wanted our pizzas to go and got up and walked out. We will never go back unless forced to join a group of our friends going there. As a matter of fact there have been several occasions recently when our friends have suggested we all go out to Spag's to meet and have dinner and we've convinced them to go to Buddies in Okemos instead. It's a sad story as we are the kind of people who always try to support local businesses here in Williamston. We both have our own businesses here in Williamston and we know it is important to support locals. That being said, with the type of attitude they've shown us lately at Spag's we'd rather go to Micky-D's than end up at this place. It has become very obvious they don't want us there. We'll never return to Spag's as long as they are under current management and or, as long as Coon is working there. You would think the folks who run this place would be concerned about the fact we've been loyal patrons for over 10 years and try to make amends but it has become obvious they really don't care how we feel. Sorry if we sound like we're taking this personally but we are. Now I know this is rather long for a review but I’m not done yet. How a restaurant can get away with having NO HOT WATER in the restrooms is beyond me but in both the men’s and women’s there never has been hot water. Lastly, if you like to play keno, don't ever let your keno ticket out of your sight or it may disappear! This has happened more than once to us. If you ask them where it went they will tell you it must have stuck to the bottom of a plate or something? Sure it did.

We reluctantly went to the party and afterward I went over to speak to Sam, the owner, and explained why we were not coming in any more.

We won't bother to return.

All accompanying food, snacks, drinks are top notch. If you can't find something satisfying here I don't think you will anywhere. PS take out pizzas are fabulous

No picture, food wasn't presented attractively. Service was "eh" at best although server was sweet.

My wife was so upset she vowed we would boycott the place for some time and we did. A few months later we had a group of friends call and tell us they were having a birthday party there and we were invited.

When I first rated this restaurant over 10 years ago I gave it 5 stars. Now I've changed my opinion and I'll tell you why. My wife and I and our three kids have dined at Spag's for many many years and in fact used to eat there once or twice a week. Until recently we had no complaints other than the fact it will take at least 45 or minutes or longer to get served a pizza. Anyway, we decided to rent the back room for my wife's 35 year class reunion and what a mistake that was. They gave us a quote which was 21.00 per plate but when we got the final bill it was about 500.00 more than we anticipated. When we asked why such a big difference they tried to claim we had more people show up, so they added another 350.00 for those people. The truth is, those additional people had paid for themselves already individually and our server named Coon had collected that money! She must have forgotten? They also told us one of our party had requested green beans be added to the menu and they said the green beans were an extra 3.00 per plate..! 3.00 a plate for green beans! You've got to be kidding me. On top of that, those green beans were practically raw.

Good food (Great pizza), Good fun: games for kids, big and little; sports on the big screens. Perfect for a couple or a large group

We had the Friday special, prime rib. Meat was lukewarm. Baked potato stone cold.

We've had several others tell us the same thing about their keno tickets disappearing as well. So sad... :-(

First time visit. Place was busy but we were seated right away. The waitress was prompt getting to us, got our drink and food order. We decided to go with the "spag" special which is their house pizza. Took about a half hour, and I have to say it was worth the wait. Some of the best pizza we ever had. Will be back.

Oh and we are not the only one's who have had this happen to us.

Some days are awesome, others are not. If you get an awesome day, you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you don't, you'll be madder than a mosquito in a mannequin factory..
